My pod

I think reporting is what I really want to pursue as a career. I thought it was practicing medicine, but I realized it really wasn't my forte. Combining medicine and journalism, like my idol---Dr. Sanjay Gupta , wasn't realistic and/or something I wanted to. So, in my attempt to get a slight taste of what that would be like, I am the health reporter for TCU News Now (which happens to be a CNN affiliate.)

Now and then I report on other subjects and also help with the daily newscasts for News Now.

This past Tuesday I was the anchor for our show. There are groups (or 'pods' as we call them) of reporters assigned for each day to write, produce and broadcast the daily show. We work together as a team.

We had to report on breaking news that morning--- Fidel Castro resigning.
